When can I move in?
Designed and owned by interior designer Kit Kemp the Charlotte Street Hotel is the absolute dream. The decor is quite out there, there is a big mix of styles. Bursts of colour in one room and slightly more old fashioned and elegant in others. I’ve talked about this hotel in my blog post here but I wanted to do a full post on it because I’m in love.
The Outside. The minty green exterior of the hotel stands out so nicely on Charlotte Street. You can sit outside and have dinner or a few drinks and watch the world pass by. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, I never felt intimidated.
Our room. We were upgraded to a suite with a TV in the tub… How grand is that. The room had its own living room too which was made up with fresh flowers, travel magazines and beautiful sofas. The bed was extremely comfy with a gigantic tv infant of it. The living room also had a huge TV so to be honest I didn’t know where to settle down first. We were given a free bottle of champagne because it was my Granny’s birthday, how nice is that!?
Cute details: There was a bottle of Eucalyptus Pillow Spray by my bed to help me snooze
Guest areas. Downstairs had a choice of two rooms to sit in and relax. One (pictured below) was a small library with an open fire. A very cute and cosy room to sit in with a book and a cup of tea. The Drawing Room which is larger has a range of beautiful plush sofas and chairs to choose from. The Honesty Bar placed by the huge open fire is packed with incredible spirits, snacks and everything else you could wish for. They even had a selection of vegan chocolate and energy bars.
Food. They cater for vegans very very well. I had multiple almond cappuccinos and even got my granny craving them too. Breakfast was a wonderful choice of avocado on toast to eggs Benedict or a choice of fruits, cereals and cakes from the buffet.
