Coffee and Maple Lollies

A new way to wake up

These lollies are incredibly easy to make, you can whip them up in no time! If you’re after a new way of having your daily coffee, want a sweet snack or just a sun refresher you can’t go wrong with these. My photos have made the coffee part of the lollies look a lot darker than they actually are…I put it down to VSCO.

This recipe makes about nine lollies.

You will need 500g of yogurt (I use Coyo), 5 tablespoons of maple syrup, 1 dessert spoon of sugar (I use Coconut Sugar), Espresso.

You may want to add more maple syrup or coconut sugar depending on how sweet you want them. I haven’t a massive sweet tooth so these measurements work fine for me.

Mix the yogurt and maple syrup well. Make your espresso, I use Nescafe’s Espresso coffee.

I use about 2-3 teaspoons of coffee per lolly. Add the sugar to the coffee so it dissolves. Then put the teaspoons of it into the bottom of the mould. Then add the yogurt mixture on top.

The more you mix the two together the more marbled they will look.

Allow the lollies to freeze for around 3 hours.

Enjoy!

Oh my god I never would have thought of this but they sound and look amazing! Very instagrammable as well haha. I’m vegan so I couldnt have the yogurt but maybe I could use a dairy-free yogurt to do something similar because I really want to make these! 🙂 Sophie xxx

Not to mention their frozen… which is a huge bonus in this 95 degree heat haha
